Vostroyan snipers

Mike has been very kind in accepting to give Valérie and me time to finish our snipers (work and GD have been eating up all our spare time lately). So here's a bit of WIP :

Unfortunately, work is hectic lately ... the sniper rifle is half done now.

I am completely fascinated by how imaginative the bases are.

It's fun to talk about the details with Valérie before actually starting the mini. Each one builds on the ideas of the other.

In these pieces, the walls are plaster, the poles are wood tooth pics, the barbed wire is two pieces of wire twisted and cut at the right places, and the candles and chains are wire and green stuff.

Nice! The pics are a bit small though. You could have had one view of only the miniature as a close-up.

Since my last few minis, I've been having serious photography problems. The field of depth is too important and so the pics get some unwanted blur effect. Bigger pics wouldn't help I'm affraid. I'm seriously thinking of getting a better camera.
